Offline For A Week

Hi Guys, sorry I haven't posted in awhile. My home DSL usage maxed out an my service provider has disabled my internet connection until the end of this month. One more lesson to be learnt!

Went to work this morning for my second last day. I just have a half day on 31 December 2007 and THATS IT...I become a full time internet junkie. I'm now at an internet cafe' and just wanted to let my readers know that I'll be back, in full force, on 01 January 2008.

Wishing you and yours the very best over the holidays.

Till the next time...keep safe.

My 2nd eBook

I have noticed this blog starting to pick up a few visitors...so thank you for the visit. Please feel free to leave comment on my posts. I have during this week added a RSS feed to make it easier for you to follow this blog.

I am currently busy researching my second ebook that I mentioned in my last post. It is amazing how many countries have limited paypal functionality and moreso, countries that are totally excluded from using the paypal system. It is unfortunate that in this 'shrinking world of our' there are still these barriers that hamper equal opportunities.

What are your thought on this subject? Let me start a poll...

Major Breakthrough With Paypal For South African Website Owners

If you are from South Africa ( and a few other unlucky countries ) you would know that paypal is either not available total or only allows you to make payments and not recieve payments through their service. South Africa falls in the latter category. To find out if paypal is available in your country please visit:

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-approved-signup-countries-outside

Not being able to offer paypal on my websites and blogs as a form of payment would have been suicide. Paypal is undoubted the most common and trusted means of payment online. It was only on Thurdays, 13 December 2007, that I was in a position to test my ebook website ( I will give address of this site once it is finalised )...low and behold the paypal transaction wouldn't go through as I am based in South Africa. This was a BIG TIME problem to say the least.

I have since figured out a way to accept paypal on my websites and this my friend is going to be the subject of my second ebook...watch this space for the launch date!

My first ebook is free and is a compliment to my website South African Business Online.
You can download my first free ebook here. (just right click and 'save as'). The ebook is a desktop shopping interface, of sorts.

Please leave comment on this post or any other of my postings. I would luv to hear your thoughs on this social experiment.

Till next time...

Why Smartdd?

Hi from sunny South Africa. Its has being another scorcher in Durban. My days at work are coming to an end soon. Last day is 31 December 2007; my employer allows us to leave at 12:00 if we start work at 07:00 for that day.

Back to making money online...for the past year and particularly the last few months it has being more like ' spending money online ". This is however the unfortunate truth...you will need to spend some money before being able to set yourself up to make money online. This, is something I can't impress on you more. What I hope though, is that you will be better able to identify the genuine programs out there that will really help you succeed online. In the next few days I will dedicate a post to programs that I have bought and highly recommend.

There are tons of poor quality to out-right scams on the net...I know well as I have lost money in my pursuit of this online 'dream'. I am a relative newbie but I have spent alot of hours lurking on forums and buying dead-end products to know what I'm talking about. So, please follow me on this journey... after all you have nothing to lose but some time following this online pursuit of mine.

Following from the last post, I said that I will explain why I needed smartdd. Well, after alot of trial and error I have come to the conclusion that selling informational products online is the way to go! Basically Smartdd will automate the delivery process once a payment has being made.

What are & Why sell Informational products. I will dedicate the next post to this. Suffice to say, there is a strong demand for this type of products online.

Till the next time...

ps. In the next few weeks I will be posting some photographs of my world, here in South Africa.

Inside The Last Month AT Work

Yes, another tiring day at the office has come and gone. My last day, 31 December 2007, is getting closer fast. My employer requires a months notice so it is in this this last month that I find myself in.

Today was a real scorcher here in Durban, South Africa and I am feeling strained today. However, to develop this online business one needs to be at it every day. I know that alot of the sales and digital deliveries will be automated soon...as they should be in this business of selling digital products online. I am in the process of doing this. It is costing me though to buy the required software but I need these basic tools of the trade.

In order to automise the delivery of my digital products I settled on SmartDD (thats, Smart Digital Delivery)
